Who We Are

Henry County Parks and Recreation offers transportation for seniors and seniors with disabilities, particularly those who reside in rural areas of Henry County and are 60 years of age and older. Preference is given to the elderly, transportation disadvantaged, and the disabled. Transportation for seniors is available on a first-come, first-serve basis to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and occasional recreational trips. Please call (276) 634-4644 at least two business days before the requested date of transportation.  

Transportation can be to medical appointments, nutrition sites, community errands, or social events.
